Punxsutawney Philomena is always a harbinger of Spring! She started with a wonderful taxidermy groundhog head and upper body that was ethically sourced. On her head is a unique hat made from a silver lid from a sugar bowl along with another tin piece for the brim. A bit of black trim and an old brooch and feather. Around her neck is another piece of black lace with another vintage brooch. She holds a flower that I crafted from velvet leaves and fabric. Below is her fabric moth that I made. Her upper skirt is a plastic painted lamp shade, her lower skirt is black fabric. Fabric flowers adorn both.
This sweet gal stands 24" tall and 12" wide.
